These were ideas that eventually lead to the elaborate one.

I was hired to design characters for a TV pitch in October 2011.

All nine are original designs.

Campfire Hire

I was commissioned to illustrate this family on their annual camping trip.

I sketched out a rough in non-photo blue, inked it with a felt pen and colored it in Photoshop.

The entire piece took me about 14 hours to complete.
